Our company began over 20 years ago when our founders started the search for the highest quality sea buckthorn to create our products. The founders of SeabuckWonders have a long history and experience in the world of Chinese Traditional Medicine. Although sea buckthorn is a wildly popular food and medicine in Asia and Europe, back in the 90’s most people in US had never heard of it.

After extensive research and experimentation, we’ve found that the best sea buckthorn comes from the Tibetan plateau. This pristine mountainous area where our USDA Certified Organic sea buckthorn crop is grown makes for an ideal setting — we’ve discovered that the harsher the growing conditions, the higher the levels of omegas and other nutrients available in the plant.
Not only were we the first brand to offer sea buckthorn in the U.S., we were the first company to offer both kinds of oil with USDA Organic Certification. Our sea buckthorn remains to be of the highest quality available and we continue to be the leading supplier of sea buckthorn oil in the U.S.
